Seybothenreuth is home to a former country nobleman’s castle, which was associated with the Göppmannsbühl knight’s fief as a manor estate. Another historic detail can be seen on the entrance door of the former manor house: it is adorned with a Lindenfels-Giech alliance coat of arms. Together, these features offer a glimpse into the area’s past.

A memorial stone on Goldhügel commemorates 29 July 1866. St. James’s Chapel is another local point of interest: it is located on the Way of St. James, and the municipality recommends a visit.

A former tradition is associated with the area near the village of Wallenbrunn: an artesian Easter fountain once stood there. The custom of drawing water from it has died out.
