Trail and Medicinal Herb Garden

The wildlife habitat trail in the market town of Lappersdorf, near Regensburg, is around four kilometres long. Eight stops provide information on interesting topics via signs. The Bärenwirts Chapel stands where Waldweg meets Pielmühler Straße. It was built in 1713 in gratitude for surviving an epidemic. Alongside the Neoclassical memorial hall is a garden whose themes are plant life and Asian design.

For another way to explore the region, the signposted Fruit Experience Trail runs for about 34 kilometres from Hemau via Beratzhausen to Kallmünz. Twelve large information boards are located along the cycling route.
