The “Alpinium Natural Environments: Bolgenach” Water Experience Trail is 4.2 kilometres long and follows the Bolgenach along an existing hiking trail. The boxes bring the wild river and alluvial forest habitats to life with hands-on features such as light effects and periscopes. On the explorer tour along the trail, visitors use a magnifying glass and a net to explore the animal and plant life in and around the water. Children can borrow an explorer backpack containing 13 activities from the Balderschwang Tourist Information Office for a deposit. The Trilogy circular walk begins in the village square behind St. Anton Parish Church. It passes the Old Yew and the Balderschwang Time Trail before reaching the Sägebach stream and its gorge. Follow the current local trail signs for the route. St. Anton Parish Church was built in 1836 and extensively renovated in 2017; it is known for its elaborate wall and ceiling paintings.
In Winter: Cross-Country Skiing or Slopes
