At the historic Torkelkelter press in Kleinaspach, a multi-part video presentation covers winegrowing, wine production and work in the vineyards. The Torkel press and the pressing process are also among the topics. The presentation also features wine festivals in Aspach, as well as leisure activities and educational trails in Aspach. The press in Allmersbach am Weinberg offers a glimpse into a different period: it dates from the late 18th century. Together, these two places offer different insights into the history of winegrowing.
You can pick up a free brochure for the GUcK tour at Großaspach Town Hall. In Rietenau, the Rietenau audio trail starts and ends at the Musikhalle on Trinkgasse. The local history museum in Rietenau displays tools, documents and photographs; the ground floor hosts special exhibitions. It opens during events. Hiking Trails and Different Tour Highlights
The Aspach Panorama is a 25-kilometre hiking trail divided into a West Route and an East Route. You can hike sections of the trail or take shortcuts. You can start from several hiking car parks, car parks and stops on bus route 367. Check the latest bus information and local route details before setting out. The Aspach Panorama also has suitable routes for cycling tours.
The Wine Hiking Trail Aspach offers a different kind of experience: rest stops along the route invite you to linger, and restaurants and other food and drink establishments offer places to stop. They also provide an opportunity to sample wine with suitable dishes. When planning, you can decide whether you prefer a divided route with optional sections and suitable cycling trails, or combining wine and a place to stop with hiking.

More Things to Do in the Rems-Murr District
The wider Rems-Murr District travel destination also offers independent hiking and cultural activities. The Rems-Murr hiking trail is 50 kilometres long and can be walked in three stages from Endersbach via Winnenden to Murrhardt. It is therefore longer than the 25-kilometre Aspach Panorama; you can download navigation for the Rems-Murr hiking trail to a smartphone. The entire trail is well served by local public transport, so a car is not required to get there. Check current transport connections when planning.
For trips to UNESCO World Heritage Limes sites or tours led by Limes Cicerones, the Limesbus Nord offers further ways to explore the Rems-Murr District. The seasonal 372 bus runs from May until the second-to-last Sunday in October on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, travelling from Murrhardt via Grab and Großerlach to Mainhardt and back. Confirm operating days in advance. In Murrhardt, a night watchman tells stories and legends by torchlight; children can bring lanterns. Ask locally whether this activity is available.
