Winter Sports
The Albiez ski area offers 35 kilometres of pistes across 70 hectares and is suitable for skiers of all levels. It also boasts a 360-degree panorama stretching from the Aiguilles d’Arves to the Parc Naturel des Ecrins and its Glacier de l’Etendard. The ski area also includes the “Marmot’ride” fun slope for beginners and children.
Activities
The Plan d'eau du Col du Mollard bathing area has a grassy beach, a swimming area and a natural paddling pool. The Tour du Châtel is an easy, 1.9-kilometre circular hiking trail starting in Albiez-Montrond. The path passes through a short stretch of forest before opening up to views of the Aiguilles d'Arves.

Culture and History
The Écomusée Le Temps d'Antan offers insights into mountain life in the village of Albiez around a century ago and highlights the work and skills of women. On display are kitchen utensils, children's toys, traditional costumes, looms and furniture. The historical objects also include a 1.75-metre-high blacksmith's bellows and a mousetrap. At the Écomusée, visitors can also learn how to make butter.
Information boards along the Opinel trail introduce the Opinel family and its history. The historic Opinel trail in Gévoudaz is a 1.5-kilometre hiking path leading to the ruins of the first Opinel workshop.
