In Praranger, a Baroque chapel is dedicated to Saint Sebastian and Saint Fabian.
Along the Chemin du Baroque, the chapel in the hamlet of Praranger is one of the chapels that can be discovered on walks. In the past, Praranger had a cheese dairy operated jointly with the residents of Lavassaix and Bettaix, as well as a grain mill operated jointly with the residents of Lavassaix and Bettaix.

Routes and Activities
The village-to-village shuttle service, the green line, serves Praranger and connects Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Les Menuires and Val Thorens.
The winter route “Découverte des villages” from Saint-Martin-de-Belleville to Les Menuires passes through Praranger. The ascent of the “Découverte des villages” route is 7.2 km long and includes 350 m of ascent and 40 m of descent. The descent of the “Découverte des villages” route begins at the Téléphérique de Preyerand and follows the signs towards Praranger.
The “Au fil du Doron” excursion follows small streams, hamlets, water mills, winter sports resorts and mountain lakes. On the return journey, it passes through Praranger and by the Notre-Dame-de-la-Vie sanctuary; this return route also passes through the hamlets of Praranger and Saint Marcel.
Local Tradition
Traditional bread is baked in Praranger in July and on 15 August.
