Nature

The Promenade du Biezin is 4.5 km long in total and has been developed for pedestrians and cyclists. It is suitable for observing the wildlife and plant life in the agricultural plains of eastern Lyonnais.

The De la ville aux champs route offers beautiful views over the Lyon metropolitan area.

The Golf Bluegreen Grand Lyon Chassieu has a 6-hole course and an 18-hole course. It also offers themed group lessons on the fundamentals of golf for players of all ability levels.

Local life

Chassieu's mixed food and textile market takes place on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 5:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Place Coponat. Numerous local producers sell food there.

Events

The Parc des Expositions Eurexpo in Chassieu hosts, among other events, the Foire de Lyon, Pollutec, Sirha, Équita Lyon and the Mondial des métiers.

Other attractions

The Centre nautique in Chassieu included a paddling pool, a 25-metre pool and a teaching pool. It offered Vel’eau Aquabike sessions as well as aquatraining with fitness equipment.
