Les Abrets: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

A notable piece of local history is “La fontaine” in Les Abrets: the structure was first commissioned in 1827 and extensively redesigned in 1913. The sculpture depicts the technical allegory “L’électricité arrivant aux Abrets” and remains a very popular landmark. The Malseroud pond is classified as an “Espace Naturel Sensible”. The wetland is suitable for observing birds, dragonflies and frogs. The “Marais et étang de Malseroud” route is an easy hike through the species-rich surroundings of a river, a pond and wet meadows.

Trails and Activities

The first stage of the GR® 65 from Les Abrets to Grand Lemps connects Gare des Abrets-en-Dauphiné station with Lac de Paladru. It is 18 km long, with 430 m of ascent and 290 m of descent.

The intermunicipal Vals d'O aquatic centre in Les Abrets en Dauphiné has a 25 m swimming pool with six lanes and a movable lane divider.
