La Galicière is a former silk-twisting mill near the village of Chatte. It is a prime example of the numerous businesses established on the Chambaran Plateau since the early 18th century for preparing silk yarn.

The machinery has been preserved at La Galicière, even though operations were finally discontinued in the 1930s. Some of the machines used to twist silk yarn are more than 200 years old.
