The Musée Hector-Berlioz is housed in Hector Berlioz’s birthplace and is dedicated to his life and work. It preserves more than 1,000 handwritten letters by Hector Berlioz and people in his circle and offers a varied programme throughout the year.

Other cultural sites include La Halle médiévale, France’s largest covered market hall with a wooden structure. Since 1925, it has been listed as a Historic Monument. The Château Louis XI was built in the 13th century by the architect Jacques de Saint Georges on behalf of Philippe I of Savoy. The Église Saint-André is a Romanesque church built at the end of the 11th century by the monks of the Order of Saint-Ruf.
The Ursuline convent in La Côte-Saint-André was founded in 1623. The Maison de l’Abbesse des Ursulines features a projecting tower. A cave chapel is located in the basement of the Hôtel de Bocsozel.
Le Biel is a 2-kilometre-long canal constructed in the 13th century that collects spring water on the eastern side of the town. The Transisère bus route 7330 from Grenoble and bus route 7350 from Voiron to La Côte-Saint-André stop at the Place Hector-Berlioz stop in La Côte-Saint-André.
