Saint-Paul-En-Chablais: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Saint-Paul-en-Chablais is home to Plage de la Beunaz, a landscaped leisure centre surrounding a temperate natural mountain lake at an altitude of around 900 metres. The leisure facility at Plage de la Beunaz has been closed to the public since 16 August 2026 until further notice.

Nature

The Les marais du Maravant circular trail is classified as easy, is 5.18 kilometres long and takes 1 hour and 35 minutes. The trail passes through marshes and lakes that are remnants of the last Ice Age.

The plateau’s wetlands were designated protected zones in 2008 under the international Ramsar Convention.

Culture and History

The bell tower of the church of Saint-Paul-en-Chablais was destroyed by fire in 1906. The municipality rebuilt the onion-shaped bell tower in July 2012. The silver-coloured onion dome of the Clocher remarquable is visible from most of the municipalities in the Gavot region and from Switzerland.

The Eglise de la Conversion-de-Saint-Paul is listed as a historic monument. The Chapelle Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs de la Beunaz was built in 1840.

The Eglise de Saint Paul en Chablais formerly belonged to a Benedictine priory founded around 1200. Two chapels decorated with Gothic frescoes have been preserved inside it.

The Sunday markets take place every Sunday from 10 May to 13 September 2026.

The Ferme des Chalets d’Oche offers a tour during which visitors can see cheese production and the farm animals at 9:30 a.m. The cheeses Abondance AOP, Saint Paul, Tomme, Raclette and Persillé are produced at the Ferme des Chalets d’Oche.
