Lugrin: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

La Gryère is a 2.37-hectare protected area in Lugrin that is open to the public. The shores of La Gryère provide temporary refuge for common bird species found along the shores of Lake Geneva.

Culture

The Maison Forte de Chatillon, also known as Château Gaillet, was built in 1341. Château d’Allaman, also known as Château d’Alamand, consists of a medieval rectangular tower and a medieval spiral staircase.

The Chapelle de Laprau is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception and was built in 1847. The Vieille église de Lugrin is the former medieval parish church and features Gothic remains, including vaults and wall paintings. It also hosts cultural evenings with local artists on Thursdays in July and August. The parish church of Saint-Pierre de Lugrin dates from the mid-19th century and was consecrated in 1847.

Hiking

The Boucle panoramique - Lugrin follows the GR du littoral du Léman to the Rosay viewpoint at an altitude of 712 metres. The route is a 6-kilometre circular hiking trail that begins in the hamlet of Chez Les Servoz and is marked with PDIPR signage consisting of beige signs with green lettering.

The hike “Hike in Lugrin, through its hamlets” begins in the car park in front of the Vieille Eglise.

Lake and activities

The Plage des Chauffours in Lugrin is a beach and swimming area for water sports. The activity Sortie pêche en bateau sur le Léman starts at Port Martin, 1 route nationale, 74500 Lugrin, and offers half-day and full-day boat trips for line fishing for up to five people or trolling for up to two people. Participants can take their catch of the day with them.

Paragliding is possible in Lugrin. Mountain biking is also possible in Lugrin.
