The Montagne des Auges in Entremont is part of an area that was added to the register of protected landscapes by ministerial decree on 12 June 1947. Anyone who has chosen Entremont as their destination can include the desire to rent a holiday apartment there in their travel plans.

Culture and History

The men's abbey of Entremont was founded in the mid-12th century and existed for around six centuries, until the second half of the 18th century.

The abbey church of Notre-Dame-de-Tous-les-Saints contains furnishings and sacred works of art that are protected as historic monuments. These include trompe-l’œil paintings, a double Baroque altarpiece, Gothic choir stalls and medieval pieces from the abbey treasury.

At the entrance to Entremont is the Chapelle de la Rivière, a chapel typical of the Counter-Reformation dating from the second half of the 17th century, which was altered in the 19th century. It has a rare roof in the style of Philibert Delorme.

The church of Notre-Dame-de-Tous-les-Saints was scheduled to be open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with guided tours available by appointment from 10 July to 29 August. An additional opening was scheduled to coincide with the French Heritage Days in September.
