Le Pain de Sucre is a cone-shaped, 6-metre-high stalagmite in an extensive karst depression that is always cool. The calcareous deposits at Le Pain de Sucre form porous, lightweight tufa, which was formerly used in the construction of houses and church vaults.

The “Vieille Lèbe et Col de Cuvillat” cycling route is 60 km long. It starts in the centre of Champagne-en-Valromey, passes via Vieille Lèbe, the Lavant plain and Col de Cuvillat, and then returns through the Valromey to the starting point.
Rêve Nordique offers an approximately two-hour cani-hiking excursion with sled dogs on the trails of Valromey. Children aged 13 and over may participate alone; younger children may participate only when accompanied by an adult.
The “Au pied du Grand Colombier” cycling route is 35 km long. It starts in the centre of Champagne-en-Valromey, follows small roads that are mostly lightly trafficked by cars, and allows for a short tour through Valromey.
