Culture
On the grounds of the Cuivrerie de Cerdon, tools, machine tools and numerous manufactured items have been preserved in good condition. An animated tour of the former factory explores its workshops, the workers, Cerdon’s first factories and the machines. The Cuivrerie de Cerdon was founded in 1836 by Louis-Marie Carrier and a coppersmith.
History
The memorial at Val d’Enfer commemorates the resistance of the Maquis of Ain and Haut-Jura. It is freely accessible all year round and is located on the edge of the D1084 in the wild gorge of Val d’Enfer. The memorial includes a hike along the Sentier des Maquisards.

The Circuit des vignes leads through vineyards and woodland to the ruins of an 11th-century church built on a Celtic site dating from the Bronze Age.

Wine
Bugey Cerdon is made from the Poulsard and Gamay grape varieties using a traditional method without adding sugar or yeast. The AOC area covers ten municipalities and around 130 hectares of vineyards.
