Culture and history

The Church of Saint-Jacques is located on the GR 50, the Tour des Parc national des Écrins, which provides access to the GR 653 D Way of St. James. Historically, a procession travelled on foot from the church in Saint-Firmin to the Church of Saint-Jacques on Whit Monday; the pilgrims met for a picnic in the hamlet of Les Paris.

The Moulin du Séchier was formerly a lime mill where the blocks of lime produced in lime kilns were crushed. In summer, exhibitions, performances and conferences on the subject of the mountains can be attended at the Moulin du Séchier.
