The Saint-Jean-Baptiste church towers over Aiguilles. At the same time, Aiguilles is one of the municipalities in the Queyras Regional Nature Park. Those planning a stay in Aiguilles may wish to rent a holiday apartment there.
Townscape
The architecture of the Aiguilles resort differs from that of other resorts. Large town houses stand alongside chalets in a more traditional style. The Aiguilles resort is nicknamed “village des Américains”.
Activities
The Espace de glisse includes a 130 m² Air Bag. The Espace de glisse also has an original toboggan run and offers beginner modules with mechanical conveyor carpets.
The artificial ice-climbing facility in Aiguilles has around 15 routes ranging from 15 to 30 m in height. In the evening, the facility is lit from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Equipment for the artificial ice-climbing facility, including ice axes, crampons and a helmet, can be rented from Viso Sport in Aiguilles.
The Barberousse themed trail begins in the Plaine des Ribes and ends at Camping du Gouret in Aiguilles.
From spring to autumn, Aiguilles hosts a weekly market selling local produce.
