Culture and history

The Église Saint-Pierre was built in the 13th century. Its last reconstruction took place from 1874 to 1878. The stained-glass windows from 1879 were created by Pierre-Eugène Guérithault, a glassmaker from Poitiers.

The Château de l’Herbaudière is now listed as a historic monument. Its new residential building was constructed in 1599; monumental fireplaces have been preserved inside.
