Hiking
Three hiking trails are offered in Saint-Pierre-des-Échaubrognes and maintained by the municipality and the hiking group “Les Croquenots”. The Sentier du Cul de l’Enfer runs along a pond and then back to the town centre.

The Forêt de Boissière consists of an Atlantic acidic oak forest that has been extensively replanted with conifers, as well as three mesotrophic ponds. Its meso-oligotrophic ponds are home to a species-rich community of rare or endangered plant species from the Atlantic region. The sandy, periodically damp forest paths of the Forêt de Boissière are home to numerous characteristic plant species.
The municipality of Saint-Pierre-des-Échaubrognes lies entirely within the “Bocages deux-sévriens” landscape unit. Four remarkable trees are recorded at La Taillanderie: three oaks and an ash. The Forêt de Boissière is a type 1 ZNIEFF site and covers less than 1% of the municipality of Saint-Pierre-des-Échaubrognes. The Moine river runs for approximately 3.3 km within the municipality of Saint-Pierre-des-Échaubrognes.
Culture and history
Saint-Pierre-des-Échaubrognes offers the playful heritage trail “Patrimoine parcours ludique”. Visitors discover clues while observing historical, architectural or natural heritage. The trail is suitable for adults and children; an initial information board guides participants along the route.
Saint-Hilaire-des-Échaubrognes was dissolved in 1808 and incorporated into Saint-Pierre-des-Échaubrognes in 1824.
