Pas-de-Jeu: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
Culture
The Église Saint-Hilaire was built from 1874 opposite the former church. On Sunday, April 28, 1878, it was consecrated by Monseigneur Pie, Bishop of Poitiers. The ossuary of the Église Saint-Hilaire had already been established in 1877 in the square of the transept.
Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Pas-de-Jeu will have specific names in mind for planning their own trip, including the Église Saint-Hilaire, the Dive du Nord, and the port of Saint-Laon.
A historic barge is on display at the port of Saint-Laon in Pas-de-Jeu. The barge installed at the port of Saint-Laon in Pas-de-Jeu was used to mow plants in the canal and along its banks. It is the only known example in western France.
Nature
The Dive du Nord was canalized over a distance of 28 km from Pas-de-Jeu to Saint-Just-sur-Dive. The Dive, a tributary of the Thouet, is canalized downstream from Pas-de-Jeu. A former towpath follows the banks of the Dive and allows for an easy walk along the river.
During the donkey walk offered by Les Ânes de la Dive, visitors learn what donkeys are, what they eat, and how they live. At the end of the visit to Les Ânes de la Dive, visitors can discover soaps made by Gaëlle from donkey milk. Les Ânes de la Dive also offered a 1.5-hour walk during which visitors could discover the world of donkeys.
