Culture and history
The parish of Crézières was first mentioned in 1119 under the name Sanctus Gregorius de Crazeriis.
The former Saint-Grégoire church was transferred to the Abbey of Saint-Jean-d’Angély in 1120. The present-day church of Crézières dates from 1860.
