Leisure

The Lieu Dieu site has three fishing ponds containing roach, perch and pike. At Lieu Dieu, a discovery ride is intended for beginners, while the forest ride is reserved for experienced riders.

The “Wake Park” leisure centre at the Domaine du Lieu-Dieu offers numerous water activities, including pedaloing, stand-up paddleboarding and tubing. The activities at the Lieu Dieu site can also be enjoyed by day visitors without an overnight stay, subject to availability and the reception’s opening hours.

Nature

The Placette des moulins has a pump track for cycling, rollerblading and skateboarding. It also features a rest area in a natural setting, as well as a riverside area from which visitors can view the river.

Culture and History

The former Cistercian abbey of Lieu Dieu was founded in the 12th century and rebuilt in the 16th century. The Brick Wall is a surviving remnant of the former Somme Sugar Refinery. The war memorial in Beauchamps was inaugurated on 2 July 1922.
