History
The former Gaudefroy Thibaude weaving site is located in Beaucamps-le-Vieux. The former Gaudefroy factory was mentioned in 1871 as a felt factory and, under the name Gaudefroy Frères, specialised in producing Thibaudes made from cow hair.
Around 1967, the former factory was taken over by Sopibat; Sepa and Fogepe followed, specialising in automotive mechanics. In 2019, a church programme included a Palm Sunday procession in Beaucamps-le-Vieux starting from the Chapelle de l’Abbé Lyonneau.
