Culture and History
Jeantes is home to the fortified Church of Saint Martin, with 400 m² of murals and frescoes by Charles Eyck dating from 1962. The murals depict scenes from the Gospel and landscapes of Thiérache.

The washhouse of Jeantes was rebuilt in 1897. It is associated with the washing of family laundry by washerwomen on the riverbank, a practice common until the beginning of the 20th century.
The Ferme de Jeantes la Cour was a monastic farm belonging to the Benedictine Abbey of Saint-Michel-en-Thiérache. The surviving building complex takes the form of a closed, fortified farm dating from the early 17th century; the residential building bears the date 1623, and the outer wall at the gate with the dovecote bears the date 1627.
In Jeantes' former village school, Inge Behling exhibits her paintings and works of art. The painter Inge Behling has lived in Jeantes for more than 20 years.
