Culture and history
The Church of Saint Remi in Chéry-Chartreuve preserves the remains of a 12th-century church in its choir. Its choir pillars bear capitals with water-leaf motifs from the 12th century. The choir also contains stained-glass windows dating from 1859, 1861 and 1863, depicting Saint Remi, Saint Louis and the Eternal Father. A total of four windows were created by the glass artists Durieux and Marquant-Vogel.
The former Saint-Nicolas Abbey in Chartreuve was founded around 1130 as a community of Premonstratensian canons. After the French Revolution, the Church of Saint Remi received the high altar and lectern from the former Premonstratensian abbey church in Chartreuve.
The grounds of Saint-Nicolas Abbey include a landscaped garden and a pond fed by the stream of Chartreuve. The former Romanesque chapel of Ferme des Dames is now a barn and the only tangible evidence of the community that was based there.

Nature
Chéry-Chartreuve is one of the municipalities covered by the Natura 2000 site Coteaux calcaires du Tardenois et du Valois (FR2200399).
The Ferme des Dames natural site is privately owned and not open to the public.
Cycling
La gorge aux loups is a mountain biking route reserved for experienced mountain bikers. The route leads to the ruins of the Premonstratensian abbeys in Chartreuve and to Ferme-des-Dames.
Les Jardins de Priape cover 13 hectares of organically farmed vegetable-growing land.
