Ruaudin has four municipal hiking trails with a total length of 32.7 km. Ruaudin also has a very large wooded area. Numerous trails winding through the forest allow walkers to discover the local flora and fauna.
Nature
In the Le Petit Plessis area, the Rando’Clim trail is located in Ruaudin. It opened on April 1, 2023, is 2.7 km long, and has 12 stations for observing trees. Rando’Clim invites hikers, walkers, and other trail users to observe the effects of climate change in the region while expanding their knowledge of the trees along the trails.

Culture and History
Part of the Mulsanne Straight lies in the municipality of Ruaudin and has shaped the history of the place. Since 2015, Ruaudin has been involved in the festivities of the 24 Hours of Le Mans week through the Les R’Hunaudières event.
The Church of Saint Peter in Ruaudin dates from the 17th and 19th centuries as well as the beginning of the 20th century and features magnificent stained-glass windows. The washhouse, the Lavoir in Ruaudin, was restored by volunteers in 1986 and bears witness to the importance of water in local life. Ruaudin’s cultural heritage can be discovered during a Heritage Day held in September.
Getting Around
Ruaudin is served by Setram with a bus-tram connection that is frequently used, particularly by young people. The Circuit des Bondes is also available for routes through the countryside: in Ruaudin, it is designated as a circular Sentier de Promenade et de Randonnée (PR) trail. The Circuit des Bondes is 14.0 km long; the stated duration is three hours.
