Culture and History

Ernée combines ecclesiastical architecture with prehistoric archaeology. The Chapelle de Charné is classified as a historic monument and offers individual self-guided visits. The town is also home to Notre-Dame de l’Assomption, today’s parish church of Ernée. Four 18th-century altarpieces are part of its furnishings and give a visit to the church a clear historical focus.

The Balade des 3 Subious is freely accessible all year round and has 14 stations with texts and illustrations. These activities differ significantly in how they can shape a day: at the water, walking takes centre stage, while the Balade presents its information step by step at the stations and the discovery trail focuses on protecting the area. The activities therefore differ in form: a nature reserve, a waterside location and two differently structured trails create several distinct ways to experience the nature chapter.

Motorsport and Events

The Circuit Raymond Demy is one of the largest motocross tracks in France. The Moto-Club d’Ernée has, among other things, hosted 11 motocross Grands Prix. In addition, Saint Grégoire will reach its 30th edition in 2026. Motorsport therefore forms an independent event and experience area alongside culture and nature.
