Culture and History

The Château du Verger was built for the Marshal of Gié after his return from Italy. It was dismantled between 1776 and 1783. The Château du Verger is listed as a historic monument; the corresponding listings are recorded for 12 November 2001 and 26 June 2007.

The Moulin de Matheflon was built in the 18th century and operated for many years, grinding grain into flour. The Chapelle de Matheflon was initially built as a simple wooden keep overlooking the Loir.
