Nature
The Perthuis Churin leisure area extends along the Divatte across 22 hectares of hilly, wooded terrain. It features children's playgrounds, picnic areas with barbecue facilities, a shelter, a fitness trail, and bi-cross and mountain bike trails. The area is accessible free of charge all year round.
At the same location, there is the playful trail “Sur les traces du chat rouge”, available via the Baludik app. In the centre of Barbechat, there is also the Mare du Soleil Levant, a fully landscaped pond with a small square and footbridges where walkers can relax by the water.
The Circuit de la Berrière circular trail runs along the banks of the Divatte and the steep slopes of Perthuis Churin, passing through preserved landscapes shaped by agriculture and viticulture, as well as shady sunken lanes.

Culture
The Château de la Berrière is an 18th-century building that was partially rebuilt around 1800. The grand salon and library feature neoclassical wood panelling with ornamental decoration. The Château de la Berrière also includes a seigneurial chapel dating from the 15th century, which preserves reused stained glass from the 16th century.
The remains of the Chapelle Sainte Magdeleine stand at Perthuis Churin in Barbechat and date from the 12th or 13th century. A Gallic tumulus is located beside the remains.
Near Barbechat lies the Abbaye de Sainte-Radegonde, a historic site. The château de Clermont-sur-Loire, a castle, is also located in the surrounding area.
Geographical location
Near Barbechat are the islands of Île d'Arouix and Île la Chenaie. In the wider regional area are the closed PARC Artothèque de Nantes museum (Fermée) and the Musée de l'imprimerie, also a museum. The Île Beaulieu island and the Parc du grand blottereau, a park, are also located there.
