Culture

The Château du Taillis has been protected as a historic monument since 1994. It is also considered the only surviving building of its type in the style of the Italian Second Renaissance in Seine-Maritime. The Église Saint-Denis in Duclair is divided into three naves, which is considered unusual.

The Chemin du Panorama is a hiking trail from Duclair town centre to a landscaped viewpoint and is stated to be 4 km long. From this path, visitors can observe the ferry operating between the two banks of the Seine. The Duclair ferry was first put into service on the Seine in 1860.

The Circuit découverte de Duclair presents the history of Duclair on 11 information boards. A special local connection can also be seen in the Duclair duck: it is a cross between domestic ducks and wild mallards and is associated with the local speciality « canard à la Denise ».
