Aumale: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture and History

Aumale Town Hall dates from the 16th and 17th centuries. Its council chamber houses a faience collection commemorating the existence of two manufactories between 1811 and 1834.

The Halle au Beurre is a former courthouse dating from the 16th century, with prisons in the basement. The Church of Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul is considered a particularly notable work of the Renaissance.

The Abbey of Saint-Martin d’Auchy reached the height of its splendour in the 12th and 13th centuries. The grounds and park of the Abbey of Saint-Martin d’Auchy can be visited free of charge for six weeks in summer, except on Sundays.

The Moulin du Roy – Minoterie Lambotte is an important national industrial heritage site and has been classified as a historic monument since 2004.

Market

Aumale’s weekly market takes place on Saturday mornings at the Place du Monument aux Morts. Aumale market offers dairy products, cheese, fruit and vegetables.
