Villerville is situated on a striking coastline: the Roches Noires–Pointe du Heurt clay and limestone cliffs between Villerville and Trouville form a 125-hectare sensitive natural area, which also includes the Parc des Graves. Villerville’s sandy beach stretches for several kilometres towards Honfleur and is accessible only at low tide.

Nature
The Parc des Graves offers 800 metres of footpaths, benches, a playground and picnic tables. The park is also home to wild plant species as well as ponds with ducks and coots.
A two-kilometre coastal path connects the Parc des Graves with the Hameau du Grand Bec at the top of the cliffs. When descending to the foot of the Roches-Noires cliffs, take care that the incoming tide does not block the return route.
Coast
The Les Bains section of Villerville’s beach offers a promenade beside a long sandy beach.
Culture and History
The Church of Notre-Dame de l’Assomption has a saddleback bell tower dating from the 12th century, typical of Romanesque art. Film history is also part of the townscape: the film “Un Singe en Hiver” was largely shot in Villerville in 1962.
The “Sur les pas de Valère Lefebvre” walking tour leads through the Parc des Graves and along Villerville’s seafront promenade. It comprises seven panels based on engravings by Valère Lefebvre from the late 19th century.
The panels depict life on the coast in earlier times, including mussel beds, the Guideau fishery and Villerville’s “Plattes”.
