Festivals and Local Life
The Foire aux ânes has been held in Moyaux on the third Saturday of every March for more than 30 years. It includes donkey parades, storytelling walks, Norman dances, conferences, and donkey rides. The event also includes a farmers’ market.
Nature and Trails
Rando-Moyaux includes trails around the village and through the countryside. These trails can be explored on foot, by bicycle, on horseback, or by donkey. Moyaux Sentiers & Nature organizes hikes three to four times a month.
The Chemin des chaumières begins at the church car park in Moyaux and is marked in green. Along this trail, visitors can see a beautiful 19th-century dwelling and two thatched-roof houses.
Les grands galops is an equestrian centre located in Moyaux.

Culture and Village Character
The Church of Saint-Germain in Moyaux has a 12th-century tower with an eight-sided spire that twists upward and appears crooked from every angle. Inside the church is a very elongated oil painting depicting a copy of Philippe de Champaigne’s “Christ in the Tomb”.
Half-timbered houses typical of the architecture of the Pays d’Auge stand around Moyaux village square. A noteworthy presbytery is located behind the church.
