In 1683, Philippe de Boran decided to build a new Château de Castilly near the former manor house. The Château de Castilly is partially listed as a historic monument. The protected ensemble includes the façades and roofs of all the buildings, the garden area with its moats and ha-ha ditches (sauts-de-loup), the walls of the kitchen garden, and the access avenue with the meadows adjoining it on both sides.
