Saint-Martin-Choquel: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
Culture
Sannier Giraud is considered the architect of the Château in Saint-Martin-Choquel. The Château is partially listed as a historic monument; its façades and roofs, as well as the grand staircase, are protected. The listing was made by decree dated 14 December 2012. The building has a simple main structure made of Baincthun stone and a façade facing the park with three sections. Inside, a remarkable staircase railing is recorded as the only surviving original element of the interior furnishings.
The Église Saint-Martin stands on a medieval motte. It was looted by Spanish troops in 1597 and restored in the 18th century. Inside the church, two restored paintings depicting the hunt of Saint Hubert, created before the French Revolution, can be seen.
