The parish church of Notre-Dame de Vicq dates from the second half of the 16th century. It was restored at the beginning of the 19th century, around 1839, and again in the 1960s.
Notre-Dame de Vicq features Neo-Gothic elements: a pointed-arch main entrance with a sculpted Pietà in the tympanum, buttresses and a bell tower.
The first collection, “Les contes d'un buveur de bière”, contains a story set in Vicq that portrays a Vicquelotte named Mother Misère, her dog Faro and a pear tree.
Antoine-Joseph Deleau, a former soldier and one of the last survivors of Waterloo, died in Vicq at the age of 85.
After an epidemic ended, the villagers of Vicq built a chapel dedicated to Saint Roch, in gratitude that the rest of the village had been spared.

Paths and landscapes
The Circuit des Chemins Pavés is an easy route that follows numerous paved paths, some of which are listed as historic monuments.

The Boucle de la Vallée de l’Aunelle is a 48.2-kilometre cycle route that passes through Vicq and can be divided into two smaller loops.
In both directions, the Boucle de la Vallée de l’Aunelle is signposted with blue and green directional markers.
The route includes sections on dedicated paths, flat to gently undulating terrain and a smooth surface; it is considered suitable for family outings.
History
According to local tradition, the original site of the village of Vicq was in the area around Trou Montauban. Numerous fragments of Roman roof tiles, pieces of Gallo-Roman pottery and remains of storage vessels known as dolia have been found in the area around Trou Montauban.
