Loon-Plage: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Parc Galamé combines a pond, pools, wooded green spaces, a solarium and green dunes to create a habitat with its own ecosystem. As a nature-oriented recreational area, it offers a green setting for walking, swimming and experiencing nature. The Village des animaux there is home to around 20 animal species, including farm animals such as donkeys, ponies, chickens, sheep and goats, which walkers can pet. The site also offers activities with Laserwood.

Nature

The Maison de la Nature offers free activities for the general public throughout the year, allowing visitors to discover the local flora and fauna. There is also an educational area dedicated to bees and the natural environment.

Culture

The Musée des Jeux Traditionnels presents traditional games from the region and explores the history of leisure activities associated with folk gaming traditions. Players of all ages can enjoy traditional “Estaminet” games there.

The Ferme Galamé is a farm built in typical Flemish architecture. It was established in 1769 and is now considered the oldest residential building in the town of Loon-Plage.

Water

Beeo’Aquatique is a biological swimming pool in which a biofilter and plants naturally purify the water. It comprises two small pools with a depth of 30 to 60 cm, two medium-sized pools with a depth of 1.20 to 1.70 m, and a large pool with a depth of 2.50 m. There are also inflatable water play equipment and a play area with water fountains.

The Étang de pêche is inaccessible throughout the entire 2026 season. The fish species listed there include pike, tench, carp and roach; day permits are available at the Civette in the town centre at 9 rue George Pompidou in Loon-Plage.
