Culture
On the third Sunday of September every year, believers continue to make a pilgrimage to Notre-Dame des Fièvres to pay homage to it. The Château de Pintignies was originally a seigneurial farm dependent on the Abbey of Flines. The Abbaye de Flines, a historic site, is located in the immediate vicinity of Coutiches. The Abbaye Sainte-Rictrude-et-Saint-Pierre and the Abbaye des Prés de Douai are also located near Coutiches; both are historic sites.
In 1850, Father Galtier de Calmayrac had a new Chapelle de Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel built. La Ferme au Carré showcases traditional farms with square floor plans inspired by the medieval “censes”.
Nature
