Notre-Dame de l’Assomption in Valence-d'Albigeois dates from the 16th century and was extensively remodeled. The church houses a 17th-century polychrome wooden Pietà with metal appliqués. Its bright nave is illuminated by 18 stained-glass windows created by glassmaker François Soleille.

Culture
The Place du Coq has preserved two stone arcades from its origins. They are considered the only surviving evidence of the historical past of the bastide of Valence-d'Albigeois.
A chapel in Valence-d'Albigeois was built in 1880 under the direction of Bishop Etienne Ramadié. During a restoration, Jacques Viard restored ten wall paintings and completely restored or entirely recreated 15 stained-glass windows. The interior of the chapel has been listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments since 1985.
Nature
The ZNIEFF Haute Vallée du Cérou also encompasses the municipality of Valence-d'Albigeois. It includes wooded slopes of deeply cut valleys, rock outcrops, small cliffs and dry heathlands. Eleven breeding birds of prey species have been recorded in the ZNIEFF; four rare to very rare species found in the Tarn are among them: short-toed snake eagle, peregrine falcon, Montagu's harrier and eagle owl.
Lac de Ginestous is included in the official list of sports facilities in the municipality of Valence-d'Albigeois.

At the Sunday morning market on the Place de l’Eglise, Combes Primeur and Les Saveurs du Puy Saint Georges, a butcher and charcuterie seller, offer their products. A market is held on Tuesday mornings at the Place du Foirail with Puech Primeur, La fromagerie du Levezou (Roques) as a cheese seller, and La ferme de Vers (Ramamouneau) as a butcher and charcuterie seller; on Thursday mornings, there is a market there with Boucherie Resseguier.
