Mouzieys-Panens is situated on the edge of a plateau overlooking the Cérou Valley. The Château de Mouzieys serves as the town hall of the municipality. The château was initially owned by Raymond VI, Count of Toulouse, and later by the Count of Penne. It still contains a 17th-century staircase, vaulted cellars and several historic rooms.

Culture
The Église Saint-Michel was listed as a protected historic monument by decree of 23 April 1979. It features flamboyant-style tracery windows, which are considered examples of regional architecture from the 15th and 16th centuries. The churches of Mouzieys-Panens can be visited by prior arrangement.
Hiking
The Sentier du Téroundel is a very easy, 2.6 km circular hike starting from Mouzieys-Panens. The trail leads to a viewpoint overlooking the Cérou Valley and Cordes-sur-Ciel and is certified by FFRandonnée Tarn. On the return route, it passes the washhouse of Thouron, where the rare Montpellier maidenhair fern can be found.
The Circuit de Lacapelle Sainte-Lucie is 11.5 km long and is listed as taking four hours. The FFRandonnée-certified route is a hilly circular hike that leads to Mouzieys-Panens.
Special visits
“Les chèvres de Shipinours” offers visits to a miniature goat farm in Mouzieys-Panens. Advance booking is required for visits, which take place in small groups of no more than ten people. Visitors can enter the enclosure, feed the goats, observe them up close and pet them.
Local produce
Ferme Maraichère et Florale sells vegetables and cut flowers at the farm.
