Golf and Landscapes
The Étangs de Fiac Golf Course is an 18-hole course with a par of 71 and a length of 5,594 metres. The grounds cover around 36 hectares surrounding 12 ponds. Golf lessons are also available.
The paths around Fiac are lined with old mulberry trees, orchids bloom in spring, and colourful landscapes can be seen in autumn.
Culture and History
The Rivals-Mazère underground passage in Fiac was discovered in 1866.
The Église Saint-Salvy houses the 18th-century oil painting “Saint Salvi sollicitant du patrice Mummole la libération des otages albigeois”, which is listed as a historic object. The church was renovated and extended in 1718.
The Église Saint-Salvy includes a chapel documented since at least the 16th century. The Église Saint-Salvy also houses a holy water font originating from Giroussens or Puybegon, which is listed as a historic monument. Saint-Pierre de Brazis is one of Fiac’s three churches.
The present-day Château in Fiac was built in the 19th century. The Château in Fiac includes a park of around 5 hectares, in which an underground passage opens.
Local Programme
Le Piaf in Fiac offers conferences, exhibitions, theatre performances or readings, as well as concerts.
Once a month, it hosts Burgerpiaf, a burger with a vegetarian option and dessert, available to eat on site or take away from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
