The parish church of Saint-Martin has a single-nave nave with four bays, a rib vault, and painted ornamental motifs on the vaults and the engaged columns. A plaque above the portal records its construction in 1885–1886. The cèpe de Vaïssac is listed as part of France’s culinary heritage.

Circular Trails

The Circuit des Crêtes PR2 circular trail starts in the hills of Vaïssac, passes through woodland, and follows the Devèses stream valley on the return route. At its highest point, the Circuit de Cabertat PR3 leads to the Mausolée de Cabertat memorial. The Circuit du Gouyre PR4 follows Lac du Gouyre and returns to Vaïssac via a wooded ridge path.

The Circuit de la Vayssède PR1 runs along the slopes of the Vayssède and Longues-Aygues springs through woods and fields and offers views of the hills of Vaïssac and the Aveyron plain. It starts at Vaïssac town hall; parking is available at the village hall.

The Quercy Gravel offering comprises seven signposted circular routes that start at Lac du Gouyre in Vaïssac.
