Mirabel: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Lac de Requech is an artificial lake that stretches across the municipalities of Mirabel and Réalville. The PR2 “Circuit des vergers” route runs along it. Visitors can also picnic and walk around the lake at Lac de Requech.

Nature

The slopes of Mirabel are characterised by orchards where a variety of fruits are grown. On the MIRABEL – PR2 hike, visitors can see the orchards of local producers and the Romanesque church of Notre-Dame-des-Misères. MIRABEL – PR2 is considered a morning hike.

Culture

The Chapelle Notre Dame des Misères has an octagonal stone bell tower with two storeys dating from the 16th century. The tower is considered a rare example of the Toulouse school and is protected as a historic monument. The Chapelle Notre Dame des Misères was a pilgrimage site visited by people from neighbouring départements to fulfil vows. The chapel’s stolen wooden statue was replaced by a bronze work by the sculptor Jean-François Leroy, who was from Mirabel.
