Culture and history
The Saint-Geniès Church in Sarrazac appears in the cartulary of Beaulieu Abbey in connection with a donation made in 823. It preserves painted panels as well as remnants of a funerary memorial frieze from the 17th or 18th century.
The Saint-Geniès Church was listed as a historic monument by decree of 10 September 1947. Château de Croze, the two farm pavilions, and the buildings of the model farm were also listed as historic monuments by decree of 17 March 1999.
The painter Eugène Delacroix stayed at Château de Croze twice.
