The Saint-Pierre parish church is located in Bagat-en-Quercy. Its floor plan is in the shape of a Latin cross; the northern chapel features a preserved rib vault with liernes and tiercerons.
The Saint-Jacques chapel is located in the cemetery of Lasbouygues. It provided accommodation for pilgrims travelling to Santiago de Compostela and comprises two rooms with groin vaults.
Several hamlets in Bagat-en-Quercy, including Mourgues, Lasbouygues, Goulfier and Billard, have well-preserved houses and dovecotes.
Trails and landscape
The “Circuit sur les chemins blancs de Bagat” circular trail begins in the village of Bagat-en-Quercy and explores the origin of the name Quercy Blanc.
The cypress-lined Calvary of Bagat overlooks the valley.
Wine and farm produce
Château Quattre produces Cahors wine with AOC classification in Bagat-en-Quercy. At the winery, Château Quattre offers wine sales and tastings by prior arrangement.
Ferme Qu’es Aquo in Barguelonne-en-Quercy processes and sells fruit directly at the farm, including plums and prunes, Chasselas table grapes, berries and walnuts. By reservation, Ferme Qu’es Aquo offers half-day nature and craft workshops for groups of at least six people.
