The 18th-century castle had four towers in 1778; two of them remain today.

Culture and History

The Church of Saint-Pierre dates from the late 14th century and is recognisable by its masonry bell gable with three openings. The village castle was built in the 18th century from foraine bricks.

The bronze cross of Notre-Dame de Pitié dates from the 19th century and stands on the site of an earlier chapel of the same name. The Oratory of Saint-Jean-Baptiste also dates from the 19th century.

Walking

The Boucle de Sarraute is an 8 km circular walk with a stated duration of two hours and a moderate level of difficulty. It is signposted with red-and-white GR and yellow PR markings.

The Boucle du Petit Touch is an easy, 5.2 km walking route. It follows a grassy path along the Petit Touch. The section along the Chemin d'Auger of the Boucle du Petit Touch offers views of the Pyrenees.
