The Site de la Digue is located in a bend of the Arros at the beginning of the canal. The D38 départemental road also passes through Montégut-Arros; it runs along the Arros Valley.

The “Abbaye et Pyrénées” cycle route is a 22 km circular route starting in Villecomtal-sur-Arros. It runs for 3 km in the direction of Montégut-Arros. From the higher part of Montégut-Arros, the cycle route offers exceptional views of the Pyrenees.
