Marguestau: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
The Église Notre-Dame de la Nativité has a square bell tower clad with wooden shingles on all four sides, rising almost flush with the west façade. The church also has a semicircular apse with a pyramid roof covered in slate, a Génoise decorative cornice, and two round-arched windows. Access from the southwest is via a lean-to-roof porch housing a round-arched portal.

At the corner of the road leading to the church stands a small oratory dedicated to Notre-Dame de Lourdes. Marguestau also has an Armagnac-style dovecote with a square floor plan and half-timbering.
History
Marguestau is considered a former Visigothic fortress. The village is also home to the former castle, which guarded the Roman road leading west from Réans. Only a few remains of this castle survive today. In the wider region around Marguestau lies the Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste d'Aire.
