Culture and History

The Église de l'Hôpital de Sainte-Christie in Cravencères is a chapel dating from the late 12th century that was dependent on the former Commanderie de l'Hôpital Sainte-Christie. The church is located on the Way of St. James.

The Église Saint-Vincent in Cravencères preserves a Vierge de Pitié painted in 1709. For centuries, the Seigneurie de Cravencères and the Commanderie de l'Hôpital Sainte-Christie coexisted in what is now the territory of Cravencères.

In Cravencères, there is a carved stone featuring Christ's head against a cross-shaped background, dating from the 15th century. The tabernacle and the altarpiece are located in the choir on the high altar.
