Lombez is home to the Cathédrale Sainte-Marie, which was built between the 14th and 15th centuries in the style of southern French Gothic architecture. Construction began in 1346 with the 42-metre-high octagonal bell tower. The cathedral has stained-glass windows from the 16th century and houses a rare 13th-century lead baptismal font decorated with Oriental hunting scenes.

Culture
The central streets of Lombez are lined with half-timbered houses and 18th-century townhouses made of pink brick. A medieval mill remains from the former Benedictine abbey. The Ancien couvent des Capucins was founded in 1663.
The Chapelle Saint-Majan stands on a hill in Lombez. This 19th-century chapel is situated on the slope overlooking the town and offers a beautiful view of Lombez as well as a panorama of the Pyrenees.
